People are often complacent about the risk of fire to their business and the long lasting damage and upset it can cause. Installing a fire alarm or a smoke alarm system saves lives, reduces risk and acts as an early warning of danger to your staff allowing the fire service to be alerted before it’s too late.
If you are a business owner or landlord it is your responsibility to put in place and maintain appropriate fire safety measures. We are a BAFE accredited company for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection equipment to BAFE SP203-1

A fire risk assessment needs to be carried out by yourself or by a fire consultant in accordance with the Fire Safety Order (2006). This is in place to protect your staff, contents and stock but by not complying could lead you to be open to the risk of prosecution.
We understand that every business is different and as such so are the levels of risk associated with fire safety. Depending on this we can design a fire system that will suit your business requirements and budget.
The easiest and the most simple is if you have had an intruder alarm installed by i-tech we can connect smoke alarms to this so when smoke is detected a siren will sound alerting your employees to the danger. This is only suitable for smaller businesses and for rented properties.
The next option is to install a standalone business fire alarm system. This will run as a separate system to your intruder alarm.
We can offer two solutions depending on the size and type of your business;
For medium sized businesses
We can offer a two wire fire alarm system which allows sounders to be installed onto the same circuit as the smoke detectors, by doing this we are able to reduce the cost of the installation.
For larger installations
An analogue addressable fire alarm system can be used. This is wired in a loop which incorporates all sounders and smoke detectors and each device is allocated a text description so the activation (or detection) can be pin-pointed exactly.
